Today we watch superheroes from Marvel and DC, but back in the day, we loved our DESi superheroes just as much! Remember Nagraj? He was born to be a venomous villain but became a superhero, saving the day with his awesome snake-control powers. With these 90s comics, we had fun while learning moral lessons. Even today, we remember the story of the monkey and the crocodile, the foolish lion and the clever jackal, and so many others. Monkeys and elephants, lions and jackals - the entire animal kingdom was our friend with Panchtantra comics! Panchtantra took an ancient Sanskrit collection of animal fables and made them super relatable for us 90s kids. Iconic stories like Birbal’s khichdi will always be a part of our lives!
